The way to a History!

Posted by Expose (Tehran, Iran) on 6 May 2008 in Architecture.

Location : Maranjab caravansary, Kashan- Iran
Inside the Caravansary (Inn).

In the past, there were two distinct and separate villages but adjacent named “Aran” and the other “Bidgol”, and each had its own customs, social communications, and dialect. It was situated near the Silk Road and many caravans passed it on their way from Europe to the Orient.

About 40 years ago, the wall of separation collapsed and these two small towns unified. Now the town is estimated to have a population more than 90,000.
