A paddy field is a flooded parcel of arable land used for growing rice and other semiaquatic crops. Rice can also be grown in dry-fields, but from the twentieth century paddy field agriculture became the dominant form of growing rice. Paddy fields are a typical feature of rice-growing countries of Middle east- IRAN,east and southeast Asia, including China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. They are also found in other rice-growing regions such as Piedmont (Italy), the Camargue (France) and the Artibonite Valley (Haiti). But Iranian's rice have the best quality and taste. the must popular and famous Iranian rise called " Smoke Rice". Location: Fereydonkenar, Mazandaran, IRAN.

I've certainly learnt something today, I didn't know that rice was grown in so many countries or that it was grown in Italy and France. Thank you for the interesting info. :) This is a wonderful shot of the sunrise, the lighting is really beautiful.

Lovely shot, with great use of space.
I have never tried 'Smoke Rice', do you know if any gets exported, or is it kept for the locals? - from the name of it, it really sounds delicious.

@Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard for your visit and also kind comment. I guess so, Maybe you can find it at Iranian Supermarkets/Food Shops. " Golestan" is one of the best brands for Iranian Smoke Rice. I highly recommend you to test it, it's really delicious with the real natural taste.
Truly stunning shot. Love the colours in the sky and the reflective water.
